Our Story
How It All Started
In 2016, Matthew Surina launched what was originally known as Hub of the Hammer in the heart of Hamilton, Ontario. What began as a few trivia nights and comedy events quickly grew into something much bigger—connecting people, venues, and communities through unforgettable experiences. In 2025, we evolved into Hub of Trivia and Events to reflect just how much we've grown—and how much more we’re ready to do.

My friends and I have gone to many trivia nights of Hub of Trivia and Events that we would never go to any other bar or host! Matt is a jack of all trades and has always been helpful and understanding of every event idea I have.
